Unearthing History

It’s a gorgeous spring Saturday morning in the Greenbrier Valley. The dogwoods are frothing, their branching neighbors displaying fresh minty green foliage. It’d be a good day to plant potatoes. Or mow the lawn. Or hide Easter eggs. For Kim and Stephen McBride, it’s a perfect day to dig for history.

Moments in Tumeric

Stella’s Restaurant - Doing farm fresh food in style

There’s a little white house on Lafayette Street in Lewisburg that dates back to 1898. Of course, it’s not so uncommon to see structures of that gene mation in this town, but this is no common house. For starters, it’s not a house. Rather, it is home to Stella’s, a restaurant that opened quietly in January of this year.
